Nigeria is seeking to access $125m world bank loan to takkle polio and procure routine vaccine in the country,Health minister prof.adewale has said Adewale, who has briefing member of the senate commitee on primary health and communicable diseases yesterday in Abuja, disclosed that once the Natiolonal Assembly approve thre move of $60 billion dollas would be embarked to fight polio, the remaining fund will be used to fight routine vaccinations. According to ministers, FG has released 9.8billion from this year budget to takkle polio epidemic. Decrying the fresh outbreak of the disease,the minister said about 30billion will be required to takkle the menace. He said in responce to the outbreak, the government immunised 800000 children below five, in five local govenment in Borno stat.
